1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of the Plaskett International College Ltd website and our courses. By enrolling on a course you agree to these terms. Please read them before you pay. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

3. Website Use

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations, or that is fraudulent or harmful.

3.2 Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images and course materials, is owned by or licensed to Plaskett International College Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it without our written permission.

4. Enrolment and Payment

4.1 How the Contract Is Formed

When you complete the enrolment form and your payment is accepted, a contract is formed between you and us. We will then give you access to your course and send you a confirmation email.

4.2 Course Fees

Course fees are as shown on our website at the time you enrol.

4.3 Payment Plans

Payment plans are available by arrangement. Course access under a payment plan begins once the plan is agreed. If a plan payment is missed, we may suspend access to course materials until the payment is received.

5. Your Right to Cancel and Refunds

5.1 The 14-Day Cancellation Period

As you are buying online, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of the day your enrolment is accepted, without giving a reason.

5.2 Starting Your Course Straight Away

Our courses are delivered online and access is given as soon as your payment is accepted. When you enrol, we ask you to confirm that you want access to begin immediately and that you understand you will lose your right to cancel once you start using the course materials.

• If you cancel within 14 days and have not logged in to the course, we will refund your fee in full.
• If you cancel within 14 days after you have logged in to the course, your legal right to cancel has ended. As a goodwill gesture we will still refund your fee less a £50 administration charge.

5.3 After 14 Days

After the 14-day period, refunds are at our discretion. We may offer a partial refund depending on how much of the course you have used. Please contact us to discuss your circumstances.

5.4 How to Cancel

Email [email protected] with your name, the course and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. We will make any refund due within 14 days of receiving your request, using the payment method you used to enrol.

6. Course Delivery

6.1 Distance Learning

Courses are delivered online through our learning platform. You are responsible for having suitable internet access and equipment.

6.2 Tutor Support

Tutor support is included in your course fee. We aim to reply to queries within 5 working days and to mark assignments within 10 working days.

6.3 Time to Complete

Most courses must be completed within 4 years of enrolment. We may grant an extension in exceptional circumstances.

6.4 Changing or Pausing Your Course

If you want to move to a different course or take a break from your studies, please contact us. We will try to help, but this is at our discretion.

6.5 Changes to Courses

We may update course content to keep it accurate and current. If we have to stop offering a course you are enrolled on, we will offer you a comparable course or a refund for the part you have not completed.

7. Assessment and Qualifications

7.1 Assessment

Assessment is through written assignments and case studies marked by your tutor. You must reach the required standard to pass.

7.2 Certificates and Diplomas

When you successfully complete your course you will receive the appropriate certificate or diploma. Membership of external bodies (IICT, FNTP) is subject to their own requirements.

8. Academic Integrity

8.1 Your Own Work

All work you submit for assessment must be your own. You must not submit work that has been copied from another source, written by another person, or produced or substantially written by AI tools (such as ChatGPT), without clearly saying so.

8.2 What We May Do

If we have reasonable grounds to believe submitted work is not your own, we may ask you to discuss or resubmit it. If we conclude that you have not met the requirements of 8.1, we may decline to mark the work, withhold your certificate or diploma, or end your enrolment. Fees are not refunded in these circumstances.

9. Course Materials

9.1 Access

You have access to your course materials for 4 years from the date you enrol, whether or not you finish sooner. If we grant you an extension under 6.3, your access is extended to match. If you enrolled before these terms were updated, the access terms you agreed to at the time still apply.

9.2 Copyright

Course materials are protected by copyright. They are for your personal study only. You may not share, reproduce or distribute them without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our courses provide education in nutritional therapy, which is a complementary approach. We do not guarantee any particular career or health outcome. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

11. Important Notice

Nutritional therapy is a complementary approach and is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. Our courses do not qualify you as a medical practitioner. Nutritional therapists do not diagnose, treat or cure disease.

12. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please email [email protected] with details. We aim to deal with your complaint within 3 working days. If it needs longer, we will tell you why and when you can expect an answer.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to you are the ones in place when you enrolled.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
