Cookie Policy

Our Approach to Privacy

This website does not use cookies for analytics or tracking. We have deliberately chosen a privacy-respecting approach to understanding how our site is used.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted, cookieless analytics system that counts page views without identifying individual visitors. This system:

  • Does not set any cookies on your device
  • Does not use localStorage or any browser storage
  • Does not use fingerprinting techniques
  • Does not track you across pages or sessions
  • Does not share any data with third parties
  • Cannot identify you as an individual

The only information collected is aggregate: which pages are visited, approximate country (derived from your IP address, which is then immediately discarded), screen size category (desktop, mobile, or tablet), and the website that referred you here. This data is stored on our own server and is never shared.

This approach complies with the UK Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 analytics exception, which permits aggregate statistical measurement without consent when no individual can be identified.

Essential Cookies

Our website may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies required for basic functionality, such as processing a payment through Stripe during course enrolment. These do not require consent under UK PECR regulations.

Third-Party Services

We self-host our web fonts, so no data is sent to Google or other font providers when you visit our site. When you enrol on a course, your payment is processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
