About the Book

This book presents a new approach to cancer treatment never published before. The treatment is nutritional and naturopathic, based upon an intensive programme of diet and supplementary nutrients, the avoidance of toxins and the use of naturopathic elimination.

Dr. Plaskett spent years reviewing and recording the scientific research literature that bears upon the influences of nutrition upon cancer. He distilled the outcomes into a comprehensive protocol for cancer-sufferers that combines together state-of-the-art nutritional measures expected to influence cancer outcomes.

This therapy was taken up by The Nutritional Therapy Cancer Trust in 1997, which used it to treat a substantial number of cancer patients until 2006. The results were significant - well over half of those who closely followed the therapy went into full remission.

About Dr Lawrence Plaskett

Dr Lawrence Plaskett was a Cambridge-trained biochemist, medical researcher, food industry expert, and practitioner of nutritional, herbal and homoeopathic medicine. He founded the Plaskett Nutritional Medicine College (now Plaskett College) to train practitioners in his distinctive approach to nutritional therapy.

His approach integrates rigorous biochemical science with naturopathic principles, emphasising cellular nutrition, detoxification, and the body's innate capacity for healing. This synthesis of science and natural medicine philosophy continues to inform the teaching at Plaskett College today.

Dr Plaskett served as vice chair of the Nutritional Council in Britain and was widely respected for his contributions to the field of nutritional therapy.
